Betty Njeru is a multi-media journalist and Editor, Breaking News and Current Affairs at the Standard Media Group, Kenya. She leads a team of reporters to disseminate breaking news information to a converged newsroom, plans content, and edits stories for publication on digital and print platforms. An award-winning journalist, with more than 8 years of experience in journalism, Betty was in 2019 recognized and awarded the Rising Star Award for demonstrating exceptional career growth and courage in advocating for issues affecting women. Betty hopes to continue honing her skills to address women and gender issues in under-developed countries. Her work has been published on The Standard newspaper, Kenya’s most read website The Standard Digital, and aired on various local TV channels. When not writing, telling stories or editing copy, you will find Betty turning the pages of a book or travelling the world.
Camille Pagella, 33 ans, née à Genève, est journaliste pour la rubrique internationale du quotidien Le Temps. Après des études de journalisme à Bruxelles, elle s’installe en Grèce où elle travaille pour le bureau local de l’AFP et documente la crise des réfugiés. Elle revient ensuite en Suisse en 2017 et rejoint la rédaction de L’illustré puis celle du Temps en 2021. Depuis le début de l’invasion russe en Ukraine, elle travaille principalement sur les questions concernant l’Europe de l’Est.
