Manjima Dhakal is a Nepalese journalist with fourteen years of experience in the field of journalism and teaching. She is associated with The Rising Nepal, the only English Daily government-owned newspaper. She is passionate about social and political issues. Manjima completed her Master in Journalism and Mass Communication from Tribhuvan University. In 2019, she joined The Rising Nepal as a permanent staff reporter. Prior to that, she taught intermediate and bachelor's degree students of Mass Communication and Journalism courses for more than three years. She worked as a temporary staff reporter for The Rising Nepal Daily from 2009 to 2015. Manjima has won several awards, including the Education Journalism Award, Youth Journalism Award, National Education Award.
